In the following, we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website. The term “personal data” means with reference to the definition of Article 4 No. 1 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter referred to as “General Data Protection Regulation” or “GDPR”) all data that can be related to you personally. This includes, for example, name, address, e-mail address, user behavior. With regard to the other terms, in particular the terms “processing”, “controller”, “processor” and “consent”, we refer to the legal data protection definitions of Art. 4 DSGVO. As a matter of principle, we process personal data only insofar as this is necessary to provide a functional website and the content and services we offer. You have the following rights with regard to the personal data concerning you: the right to information, the right to correction and deletion the right to restrict processing, the right to object to processing, the right to data portability. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about the processing of your personal data by us.

Processing of personal data during informational use of our website

If you call up our website without registering or otherwise providing us with information (“informational use”), we only collect the personal data that your web browser transmits to our server. The storage of the above data in log files serves to ensure the functionality and optimization of our website and to ensure the security of our information technology systems. An evaluation of this data for marketing purposes does not take place. Our legitimate interest in data processing lies in the aforementioned purposes. If you contact us by e-mail, the personal data you send us with your e-mail will be stored. The data will only be used to answer your questions. Insofar as we do not make use of a third-party provider named below to provide the contact function, the data will not be passed on to third parties. In addition, we record your IP address and the time of sending. The processing of the aforementioned personal data is solely for the purpose of handling your inquiries. This is also our legitimate interest in processing your personal data. Insofar as you have given us your consent for this, the legal basis for the processing of this data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) DSGVO. Otherwise, the legal basis for the processing of this data is Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO, in particular in the event that the data is transmitted to us by you by sending us an e-mail. Insofar as you want to work towards the conclusion of a contract through your e-mail, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) DSGVO represents an additional legal basis. Subject to legal retention periods, the data will be deleted as soon as we have conclusively processed your inquiry. When contacting us by e-mail, you can object to the storage of your personal data at any time. We would like to point out that in this case your inquiry cannot be processed any further. You can declare the revocation or the objection by sending an e-mail to our e-mail address given in the imprint.

Google Analytics

We use “Google Analytics” on our website, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as “Google”). Google uses cookies, i.e. small text files that are stored on your terminal device and enable an analysis of your use of our website. The information generated by the cookie about the use of our website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If anonymization of the IP address to be transmitted by the cookie is activated on the website (“IP anonymization”), your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. In doing so, pseudonymous usage profiles can be created from the processed data. The IP address transmitted when using Google Analytics is not merged with other data from Google. We use Google Analytics only with the previously described activated IP anonymization. This means that your IP address is only processed by Google in a shortened form. A personal reference can thus be excluded. We use Google Analytics for the purpose of analyzing the use of our website and to be able to continuously improve individual functions and offers as well as the user experience. Through the statistical evaluation of user behavior, we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. This is also our legitimate interest in the processing of the above data by Google. The legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f) DSGVO. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected.

Google Maps

We use on our website the offer of “Google Maps”, an online map service of Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as “Google”). This allows us to show you interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to use the map function conveniently. Through your visit to our website, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In the process, your IP address is transmitted.
